Delta Controls Inc. is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Product Development Team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer with Delta Controls, you will work with development teams to create leading-edge solutions for worldwide use in the Building Controls industry. Your ability to innovate, problem-solve and quickly adapt to change is very important in this role, as you will work on rapidly evolving products in a rapidly evolving industry.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and vision in the areas of DevOps, CI/CD, build and deployment automation, containerized applications deployment, source code management, and release management
  • Update configuration management tools, code, and modules for the purpose of streamlining implementation and supportability
  • Automate and improve software development and deployment process
  • Design and implement infrastructure as code
  • Manage multiple cloud platforms users, projects, and infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Assist with cloud-based infrastructure planning and implementation
  • Collaborate with development teams to define and develop best practices and tools for application deployment and infrastructure maintenance
  • Work with development teams to investigate and resolve issues related to development process and production applications
  • Maintain build servers, build nodes, and VMs
  • Create and maintain internal documentation that communicates CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and changes
  • Stay current with new technologies, development platforms, evolving solutions and industry standards

Experience and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of DevOps experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with bash and shell, Jenkins, Git workflows, and Artifactory
  • Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools
  • Strong hands-on experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, integration, testing, deployment workflows, automation, process development, and process changes
  • Experience working with Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform
  • Experience with Jenkins deployments
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience collaborating across multiple functional/technical teams to deliver a project
  • Experience with Python, Node.js, Groovy (Jenkinsfile)
  • Comfortable in a Linux and Windows development environment
  • A technical mindset and analytical approach with great attention to detail
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Good time-management skills
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
  • Team player
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience

  • Experience using visualization tools for error and KPI reporting
  • Experience implementing SOC 2 compliance across an infrastructure stack
  • Experience with static code analysis tools
